Expert advice when you need it most

You need to be safe in the knowledge that your family is protected going forward. In the event of your death, having a will in place can enable you to provide a secure future for your family. It ensures that your money, possessions and property get distributed amongst your family and friends as you wish. Having a will can also help to reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax that may be payable on the money and estate that you leave behind.

At Rothery Inesons Solicitors, our fully qualified and established team of specialists can provide you and your family with expert advice on the benefits of having a will. We will be able to guide you through every step of the process, offering support whilst answering any questions you may have. We also provide a quick, efficient will writing and amendment service. In the event that no will has been made, we can also assist with probate. To find out more information or to arrange a free, initial consultation simply contact our office today.

Helping families in Leeds and Bradford

As well as guiding you through the will process, we can also help you and your family with advice and support on all matters regarding trusts, power of attorney and inheritance tax.

Trusts – Allows you to choose a named Trustee to hold and manage assets on behalf of beneficiaries. For example, these are often set up to ensure that finances are taken care of for children.

Power of attorney – Allows you to give someone the legal authority to make financial decisions on your behalf if you become unwell and are unable to make those decisions.

Inheritance tax – If a person’s property, money and possessions are worth more than £325,000 (inheritance tax threshold) when they die, a government inheritance tax is then payable on the amount over that threshold.

Our team are always on hand to answer any of your questions and offer advice on the best course of action for your personal circumstances. You will always find us friendly and approachable at all times and with our quick and efficient service you have peace of mind that you and your family are in safe hands.
